Governors Ball Music Festival is one of New York’s biggest music festivals, and definitely one of the city’s best summer parties.
What to expect
Every year, more than 60 international acts perform across multiple stages, creating a weekend full of music, energy, and festival atmosphere. The lineup usually spans everything from pop and hip-hop to indie.
The festival takes place in Flushing Meadows Corona Park and draws visitors from around the world for three days of music, food, drinks, and good vibes right here in New York.
The name “Governors Ball” originally comes from Governors Island, where the festival first took place in 2011. Today, however, it is held in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens.
