Every summer, the New York Philharmonic hosts free open-air concerts in parks across the city. During Concerts in the Parks, the famous orchestra performs classical works outdoors.
What to expect
There is one concert in each borough: The Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island.
To close the evening, there is even a fireworks display, which makes the concert night feel extra special.

- Many visitors bring blankets and a picnic and enjoy the evening together with thousands of other music fans.
- Admission is free, so it is worth arriving early if you want to secure a good spot on the lawn.
