At One Times Square, you can look down over Times Square and explore its New Year’s Eve tradition. Here’s what to expect from Skywalk and Times Travel, plus a look at the ticket options.

One Times Square

A visit to One Times Square includes two experiences: Times Travel and Skywalk.

Even the journey up is a highlight: the glass elevator gives you a unique view of Times Square.

You then travel through its history, ending with its New Year’s Eve traditions. Finally, head out onto the Skywalk for panoramic views over Times Square.

1. Times Travel

Times Travel takes you on an interactive journey through the history of Times Square. You’ll experience highlights from the past century of New York, Times Square, and its New Year’s Eve tradition, and discover how it became one of the world’s most iconic places.

The journey ends in the present with a New Year’s Eve celebration and plenty of confetti. They really do celebrate New Year’s Eve here every day! Highlights include:

  • Historic New Year’s Eve balls: the collection includes four balls from past celebrations, including the very first ball and the most recent one used until 2025. You can see them up close, touch them, and take a look behind the scenes.
  • Interactive New Year’s Eve podium: after a mini countdown, you can play with an interactive fireworks display.
  • The Wishing Wall: write your New Year’s wish on a piece of confetti that will actually float down over Times Square at the next New Year’s Eve celebration.
  • New Year’s Eve countdown: a digital display counts down to the real celebration.

2. Skywalk

At the heart of One Times Square is a 360-degree observation deck with direct views of Times Square. You feel right in the middle of the action. The focus here is on experiencing the center of New York, with Times Square directly below you, rather than taking in a distant skyline panorama.

Seeing Times Square from above is incredible, especially at night!

The observation deck also has a section with a long glass floor where you can look straight down.

Inside, you’ll find more elements of the famous Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration:

  • The year numerals: perfect for a photo.
  • The crystal podium: see what the podium used for the midnight countdown looks like.
  • The Centennial Ball: a historic version of the New Year’s Eve ball from 2007.

Prices and ticket information

You can buy One Times Square tickets online or on site. Children ages 5 and under enter free.

There are three ticket options:

  • Times Square Skywalk: from $30 (observation deck only)
  • Times Travel: from $44 (observation deck and the Times Travel experience)
  • New Year’s Eve Ball Experience: from $155 (Skywalk, Times Travel, and VIP access to the current New Year’s Eve ball)

Getting up close to the New Year’s Eve ball is a real highlight. For the first time, visitors can admire and touch the famous ball at close range.

The new Constellation Ball is the largest version yet and is covered in thousands of Waterford crystals.

Tickets are currently not included in any sightseeing pass.

Extras

You can also buy a crystal from the previous year’s New Year’s Eve ball as a souvenir. The crystals are replaced annually, and each ball has a unique pattern, making this a special memento of the year you visited. Simply choose the size you’d like:

  • 1.5 inches = 3.8 cm ($50)
  • 3 inches = 7.6 cm ($125)
  • 4 inches = 10.1 cm ($150)

More experiences at One Times Square

One Times Square is home to several other experiences, too.

i Candy

If you have a sweet tooth, don’t miss i Candy. This interactive attraction spans four floors, combining New York themes with a colorful, playful world of candy.

Your visit starts with a special souvenir: a candy container that also guides you through the exhibition. On each floor, you can collect candy at different stations and gradually fill your container. Of course, you get to take it home at the end.

The rooms offer a multisensory experience, reimagining New York’s famous places and hidden highlights through a colorful candy-inspired lens. Expect an imaginative mix of photo spots, installations, and sweet surprises.

Tickets start at $40.

Ever

For couples looking for something special, there’s Ever, an exclusive venue for proposals, weddings, and vow renewals right in Times Square, the heart of the city. One Times Square is also a place to celebrate life’s biggest moments.

Events last 30 minutes, and prices start at $500, with a personalized quote based on your needs. You can invite up to 20 guests, and photos are available at an additional cost.
