Free live music in the middle of Manhattan? There is plenty of it. The Summer Concerts at Hudson Yards bring a little festival feeling to Manhattan's west side, with the Vessel as the backdrop.
What to expect
Over several weeks, free concerts take place regularly on the Wells Fargo Stage at Hudson Yards. You can expect a varied mix of well-known artists, rising talent, and different music styles, from pop and indie to R&B and more.
Here is the 2026 lineup:
- May 13: ALY & AJ
- May 20: Warren G
- May 27: Busta Rhymes
- June 3: Jordin Sparks
Good to know
- Doors usually open at 5 PM, so come early if you want to secure a good spot.
- Admission is free, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Since the event takes place outside on the plaza, it is worth checking the weather forecast and the official social media channels in case of cancellations.
- You can get snacks and drinks right on site from the many spots in Hudson Yards or on the plaza itself.
- Before or after the concert, it is worth visiting Edge or Vessel.
