Country dancing in Midtown Manhattan? At Bryant Park’s Square Dance, the lawn becomes a dance floor you can join yourself.
What to expect
The evening starts with a line-dancing class, followed by square dancing with a live band and a caller announcing the moves. You don’t have to memorize the sequence beforehand.
Off the dance floor, activities include lasso lessons, a mechanical bull, games, and crafts.
