Browse the holiday stalls, stop for something to eat, and watch the skaters: Bryant Park’s Winter Village brings all three together in Midtown.
What to expect
The Holiday Shops fill the paths around Bryant Park with small stalls selling gifts, crafts, food, and drinks. You can come looking for a present or simply browse and see what catches your eye. You don’t have to go skating to spend time here.
The rink sits at the center of Winter Village. Nearby, The Lodge has food and drinks with a view of the skaters, and the Christmas tree becomes another part of the setting during the holiday season.
One thing to keep in mind when planning your visit: the market and the skating rink don’t have the same season. The main Holiday Shops market finishes in early January, while the rink and Lodge stay open further into winter. The dates in this entry refer to the Holiday Shops.
Good to know
- Entry to Winter Village is free. Food, shopping, skate rental, and optional extras cost money.
- Skating admission is free with your own skates, but you still need a reservation. Rental prices vary by date and time.
- The market opens at noon on its first day. Regular shop hours differ from the rink and Lodge, and holiday hours may vary.
