A Christmas evening becomes a fantastical journey as you follow Marie through a battle with the Mouse King, a snowy forest, and the Sugarplum Fairy’s realm. And yes, the Christmas tree actually grows before your eyes, accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s orchestral music.
George Balanchine’s production has been part of New York City Ballet’s repertory since 1954. Elaborate costumes and sets bring the story to life without spoken dialogue. Allow around two hours. The performance is recommended for ages five and up; even small children sitting on laps need their own ticket.

- Arrive in good time and allow for a restroom visit before the performance. The organizer does not allow late seating or re-entry during the performance.
