The National Puerto Rican Day Parade is one of the biggest and most colorful parades in all of New York.
What to expect
Every year, the parade moves along Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 79th Street, celebrating Puerto Rican culture, history, and community.
Thousands of participants and tens of thousands of spectators turn Manhattan into a sea of red, white, and blue flags, accompanied by music, dancing, and incredible energy.
With more than 3 million people in Puerto Rico and over 5 million Puerto Ricans in the United States, this event is a powerful celebration of identity, pride, and community. The parade brings people together from New York, across the U.S., and Puerto Rico, and shows just how vibrant the culture is in the city.
The 2026 Grand Marshal of the parade is Daddy Yankee.
