Halloween costumes, four paws and plenty of personality: dogs take the spotlight at Washington Square Park’s costume contest.
What to expect
The Washington Square Park Conservancy brings costumed dogs and their humans together at Garibaldi Plaza. You can enter with your dog or simply watch the contestants.
Participation and spectating are free, with no advance registration. A community judging panel chooses the winners.
Good to know
- The entry line opens at 9:30am. Arrive before 10am and join the line by 10:30am to participate.
- Winners must be present to collect their prizes.
