Astoria Park Carnival brings classic summer fun to Queens with rides, games, carnival food, and free admission near the waterfront.
What to expect
Astoria Park Carnival is a family-friendly outdoor carnival in one of Queens’ most scenic parks. For several days in June, Astoria Park fills with rides, games, food vendors, and a classic neighborhood carnival atmosphere.
Admission to the carnival is free, so you can walk around, enjoy the atmosphere, and decide which rides or games you want to try. Rides require tickets, which can be purchased on-site.
This is a casual and easy summer outing, especially if you’re already in Queens or looking for something fun to do in the evening. Expect bright lights, fair-style snacks, carnival games, and rides for different ages.
Because Astoria Park is right by the East River with views toward the bridges and Manhattan, the setting makes the carnival feel especially nice around sunset. Just plan your transportation ahead of time, since parking in the area is very limited.
