Ride vintage subway trains through Brooklyn for the price of a regular subway fare. Parade of Trains brings historic MTA train cars back to the BMT Brighton Line for one special weekend between Brighton Beach and Kings Highway.
What to expect
MTA New York City Transit and the New York Transit Museum bring out a selection of historic train cars and let visitors hop on and off along the BMT Brighton Line.
The trains run between Brighton Beach station and Kings Highway Station, giving you the chance to step aboard vintage subway cars that usually live in the museum collection. Each ride takes about 10 minutes, and trains run continuously throughout the day.
It is a simple but really special experience: you board with your regular subway fare, ride a piece of New York transit history, and get a little glimpse of what subway travel used to feel like.
